Sedans have two rows of seats but are capable of seating five comfortably. Sedans also have more performance and luxury options as compared to hatchbacks. They’re also more affordable than equivalent crossovers or SUVs.

They are also among the safest cars on the road. They offer passengers a comfortable ride and easy ingress and egress. They’re more pleasant to drive, have better and more sophisticated suspensions, and offer superior handling dynamics. They are usually more aerodynamic than most other types of vehicles. They also have better acceleration and braking compared to other types of cars. They’re also available in a wide range of performance and luxury versions. This makes sedans great for families, and anyone who needs a lot of interior space. Sedans lose out on cargo space and fuel economy when compared to hatchbacks.
